Roers Companies in Shakopee, MN is seeking a Maintenance Technician for The Blakeley to ensure residents feel safe and comfortable in their homes. You will perform general maintenance, electrical/plumbing repairs, and participate in unit turns to keep properties in top condition.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in property maintenance and 2+ years in customer service, with own hand tools and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years property maintenance experience preferred.
• 2+ years customer service experience preferred.
• Provide own hand tools as listed.
• Local market experience preferred.
• Ability to work weekends/evenings on-call.
• Strong communication, organization, and time management.
• Physically able to lift up to 75 pounds and climb stairs.

Responsibilities

• General maintenance of multifamily apartment buildings.
• Repairs in electrical, plumbing and appliances.
• Participation in cleaning and painting during unit turns.
• Snow removal.
• On-call rotation; responds after hours and on weekends.
• Regular, professional, and courteous communications with Property Managers, Maintenance Managers, and Residents.
• Other duties as assigned.
