Job summary

HNN Communities in Federal Way, WA, is seeking a Full-Time Maintenance Technician to uphold the community’s upkeep and safety standards. You will handle make-ready tasks, repairs, and preventive maintenance to keep units and common areas in excellent condition.

The role requires at least one year of maintenance experience, a valid driver's license, and strong customer service skills, with a schedule Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of maintenance related experience.
• Competent in maintenance operations including electrical, plumbing, carpentry and painting.
• Able to provide excellent customer service to residents.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the physical condition and general upkeep of the community.
• Complete work orders within policy timeframes.
• Prepare make-ready apartment homes including painting, flooring, cleaning, rekeying and general repairs.
• Clean and trash vacated apartment homes and document belongings as needed.
• Maintain community grounds, pool, spa, common areas and amenities.
• Perform regular lighting checks and repairs.
• Ensure safety records are up to date and compliant.
• Test and maintain pumps, boilers, fire control systems and generators as directed.
