Job summary

Madison Communities in Charleston, SC is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair apartments across ourFoundry Point property. You will handle painting, plumbing, electrical work, HVAC, carpentry, and routine maintenance to keep units move-in ready.

You’ll deliver excellent resident service, respond quickly to requests, work with vendors, and keep tools and areas organized. The role requires 1+ year maintenance experience and a high school diploma or equivalent;

Qualifications

• 1+ year of maintenance experience, multifamily preferred.
• HVAC, EPA, CPO certifications are a plus.
• Must be at least 18 with a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding resident service and respond to requests.
• Handle day-to-day repairs: painting, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry.
• Address service requests quickly and professionally.
• Ensure apartments are safe, functional, and move-in ready.
• Coordinate with vendors for specialized projects (landscaping, asphalt).
• Keep tools, equipment, and work areas safe and organized.
