Job summary

Harbor Group Management Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician in North Carolina to maintain the property's buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas to company standards. You will handle resident service requests, perform routine maintenance, and support safe, efficient operations across the property.

Qualifications

• 1 year of general maintenance experience including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, or appliance repair.
• HVAC certification preferred; EPA Type I & II or Universal required for refrigerant handling.
• Multifamily maintenance experience is highly desirable.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to respond to on‑call emergencies as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical maintenance including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliance repair, and glass replacement.
• Respond promptly to resident service requests and track repairs using a work order system.
• Conduct preventative maintenance across the property for safety and efficiency.
• Prepare vacant units for new residents, including inspections and punch lists.
• Maintain clean, safe amenity areas and manage inventory of tools and materials.
• Assist in safety compliance by attending trainings and reporting incidents.
