Job summary

INH Properties is hiring a full-time Maintenance Technician to support our Minnesota apartment communities in the Owatonna and Faribault area. The role covers carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical work, and basic HVAC knowledge to keep units ready for move-ins and residents happy.

You will handle grounds upkeep, janitorial tasks, and timely responses to work orders while communicating professionally with residents. A high school diploma and valid driver’s license are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; valid driver’s license preferred.
• Ability to manage time well and work independently or with a team.
• Experience in drywall, painting, carpentry, plumbing and basic electrical work.
• Knowledge of boilers and HVAC systems strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Miscellaneous maintenance and carpentry tasks.
• Grounds upkeep and snow removal.
• Interior painting and janitorial duties to keep community clean.
• Respond to work orders promptly and professionally.
• Communicate with residents when fulfilling maintenance requests.
• Ensure apartments are ready for move-ins and communities are well maintained.
• Other duties to create a great living environment for residents.
• Clean and maintain common areas.
