Job summary

INH Properties is seeking a part-time, mid-level Maintenance Technician to join our apartment communities in Minnesota. You will take pride in keeping residents satisfied by performing maintenance tasks and collaborating with a supportive team.

Your responsibilities include completing work orders promptly, maintaining grounds, assisting with move-ins, and ensuring all units and common areas meet high standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Strong time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Experience in drywalling, painting, and carpentry.
• Knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform miscellaneous maintenance tasks as needed.
• Maintain grounds and assist with snow removal.
• Respond to work orders promptly and professionally.
• Communicate with residents about maintenance requests.
• Ensure apartments are ready for move-ins and communities are well-maintained.
• Fulfill other duties to create a great living environment.

What We’re Looking For:

INH Properties is seeking a part-time, mid-level experienced Maintenance Technician that will take pride in making our apartment community a great place to live!

Job Responsibilities: (Including but not limited to)

When joining our team, you will play an important role by owning the following tasks:

• Miscellaneous Maintenance
• Grounds upkeep (pick up debris) and snow removal
• Responding to work orders in a timely manner
• Communicating professionally with residents when fulfilling maintenance requests
• Work as a team to ensure apartments are ready for all move-ins and maintain our communities to the highest standard
• All other duties required to create a great living environment for our residents

Requirements

Who We Are Looking For (Ideal Candidate):

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• A valid Driver's License
• Time Management skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting
• Dry walling including painting and carpentry
• Working knowledge of plumbing
• Working knowledge of electrical including outlets, switches and light fixtures

Preferred but not required:

• Experience in multi-family housing
• Boilers knowledge is strongly preferred
• Boilers License or a willingness to get one
• HVAC certification strongly preferred
