Job summary

Milhaus is seeking a Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and grounds at our properties. You will work on units and common areas, complete service requests within 24 hours, and coordinate with vendors and on-site staff.

The ideal candidate has at least one year experience, a high school diploma, valid driver's license, ability to lift 50 pounds, and knowledge of OSHA safety standards. HVAC certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year demonstrated experience in maintenance and repair of mechanical and electrical systems, plumbing and groundskeeping.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• HVAC certification preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Receives service work orders and completes tasks within 24 hours.
• Polices grounds daily and as needed.
• Refurbishes vacant units within five working days or less.
• Performs painting, cleaning, grounds work, and related tasks.
• Operates tools and equipment for maintenance duties.
• Assists with preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Reports property losses or incidents promptly.
• Maintains on-call status and compliance with safety standards.
