MMS Group is seeking an experienced Building Maintenance Technician for an 80-unit residential property in Wilmington, DE. The role focuses on maintaining apartment homes, performing repairs, and coordinating unit turnovers to ensure timely move-ins.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in multifamily maintenance, a valid driver's license, and proficiency with basic tools and MS Office. This full-time position offers paid holidays, PTO, health plans, and a 401(k) retirement plan.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of residential multifamily property management/apartment maintenance.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Possession of basic tools needed to perform routine maintenance tasks.
• Physical requirements include/heavy lifting, bending, kneeling, stooping, climbing, balancing, and carrying.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsabilités

• Regular Maintenance: maintain residential apartment homes and common areas.
• Repairs: perform small appliance, plumbing, electrical, and other repairs.
• Installation: install tile and laminate flooring.
• Emergency Response: participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.
• Unit Turnover: manage turnover of empty units including repairs.
• Additional Duties: perform other duties as outlined in the job description.
