Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Maintenance Technician to care for apartments, common areas, grounds, and building systems. You will manage work orders, preventive maintenance, turnovers, inspections, and repairs with a focus on safety and customer service.

Responsibilities include coordinating with contractors, documenting work, and maintaining clean, organized maintenance areas. This role requires problem solving, tool proficiency, and the ability to respond to emergencies as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous apartment, multifamily, residential, commercial, or property maintenance experience.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and general repairs.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and determine when a contractor is needed.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
• Valid driver's license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders promptly and professionally.
• Perform general repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, doors, walls, floors, and fixtures.
• Inspect apartments and common areas for maintenance and safety concerns.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents, including cleaning and repairs.
• Maintain building exteriors and grounds.
• Respond to emergency maintenance issues.
• Document work orders and inspections.
