Job summary

Red Tail Residential is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at a multi-family community. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and appliance repairs, while upholding safety standards and delivering reliable service to residents.

Work with the Property Manager to prepare units for occupancy, handle seasonal tasks, and keep common areas in good repair.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years as a maintenance technician; multifamily experience preferred.
• Basic proficiency in two or more trades (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting).
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• EPA Universal and CPO certifications preferred.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use property management software.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair building systems (HVAC, ventilation).
• Perform electrical and plumbing repairs.
• Service appliances (stoves, refrigerators, washers, dryers).
• Complete light carpentry, drywall, and hardware repairs.
• Install and maintain flooring, cabinets, and countertops.
• Prepare units for occupancy and assist with seasonal maintenance.
• Inspect and clean common mechanical and storage areas.
