Job summary

Red Tail Residential is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance across multi-family communities. You will handle HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and appliance repairs to ensure quality service for residents and staff.

The role requires hands-on skills across multiple trades, with safety standards a priority, and may involve flexible scheduling to support building operations and occupancy readiness.

Qualifications

• 2+ years as a maintenance technician; multifamily experience preferred.
• Basic proficiency in two or more trades (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting).
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• EPA Universal and CPO certifications preferred.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use property management software.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair building systems (HVAC, ventilation).
• Perform electrical and plumbing repairs.
• Service appliances (stoves, refrigerators, washers, dryers).
• Complete light carpentry, drywall, and hardware repairs.
• Install and maintain flooring, cabinets, and countertops.
• Prepare units for occupancy and assist with seasonal maintenance.
• Inspect and clean common mechanical and storage areas.
