Job summary

The Property Management Company, Inc. (The PMC) is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to perform HVAC servicing, basic plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and general repairs across residential properties. You will respond to maintenance requests promptly and uphold high standards for safety and resident satisfaction.

You will also assist with exterior upkeep, inspections, and documentation in the property management system, collaborating with vendors and teammates in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in property maintenance (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry).
• Basic knowledge of real estate software (Yardi, Microsoft Office 365 preferred).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a customer-service mindset.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform HVAC servicing, basic plumbing, electrical work, appliance repairs, carpentry, and general repairs in common areas.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests, ensuring efficient and high-quality completion of work orders.
• Assist in maintaining the exterior of the property, including lawn care, snow removal, and minor landscaping tasks.
• Conduct regular inspections of common areas, equipment, and building systems, identifying maintenance needs and potential safety hazards.
• Participate in preventive maintenance programs and safety training.
• Document maintenance activities, work orders, and inspections in the property management system.
