Job summary

The Morgan Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our Houston properties. You will handle plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general upkeep, ensuring safe, clean, and well-maintained communities for residents.

This on-site role requires a strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work with contractors and vendors. We offer training, benefits, and opportunities for growth within a values-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems.
• EPA certification required.
• Property maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to MORGAN’s Maintenance, Emergency Procedures, Leasing and Marketing, Management and Operations manuals along with the Team Member Handbook.
• Perform all tasks in a safe manner and provide customer service.
• Handle service requests, apartment turnovers and assist with outside vendors as assigned by the Lead Maintenance.
• Assist in all phases of apartment and property maintenance, including plumbing, carpentry, appliance repair, electrical and heater maintenance, painting, etc.
• Maintain an organized work place and shop.
• Report parts or supplies that need to be ordered to the Lead Maintenance.
• Inventory supply shipments and puts away stock, giving packing slip to the Community Manager.
• Report issues involving safety, property maintenance and unresolved maintenance issues to Lead Maintenance in a timely manner.
• Assist in the upkeep of the exterior and interior of the property.
• Responsible for vehicle (golf carts) and pool/spa maintenance and upkeep.
• Ensures lighting replacement and trash maintenance of outside grounds.
• Comply with all training requirements set forth for this position.
