Job summary

Morgan Group is a Houston-based multifamily property manager seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to support our community. The role involves monitoring building systems, addressing service requests, and maintaining safety standards across common areas and interiors.

You will follow OSHA guidelines, manage tools and supplies, and assist preventive maintenance for pools, lighting, and exteriors within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 6 months of multi-family maintenance experience.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to follow procedures.
• Ability to read and follow work orders and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to MORGAN’s Maintenance, Emergency Procedures, Leasing and Marketing, Management and Operations, manuals along with the Team Member Handbook.
• Monitor building systems, fire, electrical, security, elevators, etc. Report all unsafe areas to Lead Maintenance.
• Constantly inspect the community and report hazards to the Lead Maintenance.
• Conduct all work in compliance with OSHA and the MORGAN Operations manual.
• Maintain a workplace that adheres to safety standards.
• Assist a preventive maintenance program for all building interiors and exteriors including pools, fitness equip. and lighting, etc.
• Respond to all service requests within 24 hours. Ensure that all service requests are completed correctly and in a timely manner.
• Ensure that all vacant units are market ready within 7 days.
