Job summary

Lawson is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team and provide responsive maintenance for our LRC managed community. You will report to the Maintenance Supervisor and contribute to a supportive, growth‑oriented environment.

Required trades training, a valid driver's license, and ability to obtain Type I & II CFC refrigerant certification within one year are expected. The role includes 24‑hour readiness for emergencies and a focus on resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem solving.
• Formal training in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall or A/C.
• Certification in Type I & II CFC refrigerants within 1 year or ability to obtain.
• Good human relations for tenants, peers and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests and complete assigned projects.
• Perform on-call emergency service as directed.
• Repair or replace HVAC systems, appliances, fixtures and surfaces.
• Conduct plumbing, electrical, painting, concrete, masonry, carpentry work.
• Perform preventative maintenance and follow PM procedures.
