Job summary

The Lawson Companies, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to deliver responsive and efficient maintenance services for all LRC managed properties in Virginia. The role emphasizes teamwork and a commitment to quality living experiences for residents.

You will perform HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, and preventative maintenance tasks, with on-call duties and a focus on timely work order completion. A collaborative environment supports professional growth.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude required.
• At least 1 year maintenance trade experience.
• CFC Refrigerant Certification (Type I & II) or ability to obtain within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Service Request
• Perform projects with workmanship and timeliness
• On-call emergency service as directed
• Repair/replace HVAC systems and components, gas and electric appliances, etc.
• Perform plumbing, electrical, painting, concrete, masonry, carpentry work
• Preventative maintenance and follow procedures
• Ensure completion of work requests within 24 hours
• Report resident complaints/work requests to Supervisor
• Other duties as assigned
