Job summary

Lawson is seeking a Maintenance Technician to deliver responsive maintenance for LRC properties in Virginia. You will perform HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry tasks, with a focus on 24-hour completion and resident satisfaction.

You should have a high school diploma, at least 1 year of maintenance experience, and Type I & II CFC refrigerant certification or ability to obtain within a year. A valid driver's license is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of maintenance trade experience.
• Type I & II CFC Refrigerant Certification or ability to obtain within 1 year.
• Formal training in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall or AC.
• Valid driver's license with clean record; golf cart ability.

Responsibilities

• Handle service requests and complete work within 24 hours.
• Perform assigned projects with solid workmanship and timeliness.
• Provide on-call emergency service as directed.
• Repair/replace HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall, fixtures, and more.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and report resident issues to the supervisor.
