Job summary

Friedman Real Estate is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support on-site multifamily properties. You will prep apartments for make-ready turns, handle service requests, and perform preventative maintenance on HVAC and other systems.

Applicants should have at least 2 years of on-site maintenance experience, a basic tool set, and a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation. A HVAC certification is a plus, as is knowledge of make-ready carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work.

Qualifications

• 2 years of maintenance experience in multi-family/residential properties.
• HVAC certification a plus.
• Must have basic set of tools.
• Positive, can-do attitude and reliability.
• Knowledge of make-ready unit turns, including carpentry, plumbing and electrical.

Responsibilities

• Prepping apartments for make-ready turns.
• General maintenance duties as necessary.
• On-call; respond to after-hour emergency calls.
• Snow removal and maintenance of grounds, including common areas.
• Preventative maintenance and repair on HVAC and other mechanical systems.
• Completing work orders for service requests, including plumbing, carpentry, light electrical.
