Job summary

Red Tail Residential is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team at Windham Apartments. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance across multi-family communities, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and appliance repairs to ensure safety and resident satisfaction.

The role requires at least 2 years in maintenance, basic proficiency in multiple trades, a high school diploma, and the ability to use property management software.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years as a maintenance technician.
• Multifamily experience preferred.
• Basic proficiency in two or more trades (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting).
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• EPA Universal and CPO certifications preferred.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use property management software.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair building systems (HVAC, ventilation).
• Perform electrical and plumbing repairs.
• Service appliances (stoves, refrigerators, washers, dryers).
• Complete light carpentry, drywall, and hardware repairs.
• Install and maintain flooring, cabinets, and countertops.
• Prepare units for occupancy and assist with seasonal maintenance.
• Inspect and clean common mechanical and storage areas.
