Job summary

Red Tail Residential is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician for its multi-family housing communities. You will be responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance repairs. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience and basic proficiency in multiple trades.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years as a maintenance technician; multifamily experience preferred.
• EPA Universal and CPO certifications preferred.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use property management software.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair building systems (HVAC, ventilation).
• Perform electrical and plumbing repairs.
• Service appliances (stoves, refrigerators, washers, dryers).
• Complete light carpentry, drywall, and hardware repairs.
• Install and maintain flooring, cabinets, and countertops.
• Prepare units for occupancy and assist with seasonal maintenance.
• Inspect and clean common mechanical and storage areas.

About the Role

You’ll ensure safety standards are met while delivering exceptional service to residents and team members.
