ResProp Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Melbourne, FL to respond to work orders, perform preventative and reactive maintenance, and prepare vacant units for move-in. You will work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor and team to keep common areas safe and attractive while delivering excellent resident service.

The role requires 1+ year in maintenance, own tools, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Weekend/holiday shifts and a valid driver’s license are expected.

Qualifications

• 1+ year general maintenance/repair experience, preferably in multifamily or related industry.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal certification strongly preferred.
• Trade skills including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, painting, roofing, cabinetry, pools, appliances, etc.
• Trade licensing preferred but not required.
• Must have own hand tools.
• Must live within 30 minutes of the community.
• Must be willing to work a varied schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Must have dependable transportation and be able to accommodate rotating on-call schedule.
• Must be able to perform physical requirements up to 50 pounds.

Responsabilités

• Respond to and complete work orders promptly and with quality.
• Perform maintenance to keep pools, laundry, clubhouses, parking lots clean, safe, and attractive.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Supervisor to prioritize tasks.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents, guests, and vendors.
• Maintain property value with preventative maintenance.
• Prepare vacant apartments for move-in.
• Identify and report safety hazards and maintenance needs to the Supervisor.
• Maintain and repair building and site systems.
• Use software to track work and performance.
• Be part of a team in a dynamic environment.
