Job summary

ResProp Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to respond to work orders promptly and maintain safe, attractive common areas for residents. You will coordinate with the Maintenance Supervisor to prioritize tasks and perform preventative maintenance across the property.

The role requires 1+ year of maintenance experience; EPA Type I/II preferred; you must have your own hand tools and be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Weekend/holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of general maintenance experience (multifamily preferred).
• EPA Type I/II or Universal certification strongly preferred.
• Trade skills including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, painting, etc.
• Trade Licensing preferred but not required.
• Must have own hand tools.
• Must live within 30 minutes of community.
• Willing to work weekends/holidays.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and complete work orders promptly and safely.
• Maintain clean, safe, and attractive common areas (pools, laundry, clubhouses, parking).
• Coordinate with Maintenance Supervisor to prioritize tasks.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents, guests, and vendors.
• Perform preventative maintenance to protect property value.
• Prepare vacant apartments for move-in.
• Identify and report safety hazards and maintenance needs.
• Maintain and repair building/site systems.
• Use software to track work and performance.
• Be part of a team in a dynamic environment.
