Qualifications

2+ years of maintenance experience in multifamily residential or a related field.
Strong working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, drywall, and carpentry.
EPA 608 Certification.
Ability to respond to after-hours emergencies and manage an on-call rotation.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Lead, supervise, and develop the maintenance team to perform at a high level.
Assign daily work orders and prioritize tasks to maximize efficiency.
Train, coach, and mentor maintenance staff to build skill and accountability.
Foster a safe, productive, and resident-focused maintenance culture.
Oversee rent-ready unit preparation and coordinate move-in schedules.
Respond to maintenance emergencies and ensure timely resolution.
Troubleshoot complex maintenance issues and provide hands-on support.
Conduct regular property inspections and oversee preventive maintenance program.
Coordinate and manage vendors, contractors, and service providers.
Monitor budgets and maintain accurate records in AppFolio.
