Job summary

29th Street Capital is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations for a portfolio of multifamily properties. You will train and supervise Maintenance Technicians, coordinate work orders, and ensure safety and compliance.

You will manage preventive maintenance, schedule inspections, and work with residents and vendors to resolve issues within 24 hours. Strong HVAC experience and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• HVAC experience required and able to troubleshoot common issues.
• Strong organization and professional communication with residents and vendors.
• Reliable time reporting and honesty in record-keeping.
• CPO and EPA certifications are a plus.
• Multi-family property management experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance operations and supervise Maintenance Technicians.
• Coordinate and schedule preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Process and close work orders efficiently, targeting 24-hour response.
• Ensure vacant units are made ready within 7 days of vacancy.
• Monitor budget and control maintenance expenses with management.
• Provide mentorship and training to maintenance staff.
• Maintain logs and ensure compliance with inspections and safety standards.
