Job summary

Brookside Properties, a professional property management company, seeks a Maintenance Supervisor for Vetra at Hamilton Place in Chattanooga, TN. You will lead day-to-day maintenance for buildings, grounds and amenities, supervise the maintenance team, and ensure safety and resident-focused service.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong HVAC, electrical, plumbing and carpentry skills, and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset to uphold high standards and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of multifamily maintenance experience (supervisory experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general repairs.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all maintenance operations for buildings, grounds, and amenities.
• Manage unit turns, preventative maintenance, and service requests with efficiency.
• Supervise, train, and motivate maintenance team members.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, Fair Housing, and safety standards.
• Coordinate vendors, manage inventory, and assist with maintenance budgeting.
• Maintain pool operations and chemical safety standards.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.
