Job summary

RHM Real Estate Group in Cleveland, OH seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the upkeep of a multifamily property. You’ll supervise maintenance staff, coordinate repairs, manage contractors, and ensure safety and quality across units and common areas.

Responsibilities include maximizing efficiency, reducing costs, responding to resident requests, and overseeing on-call duties. A hands-on leader with strong communication and 2+ years in property maintenance is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational or technical training preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in multifamily property maintenance or related field.
• Proven experience in plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC, and appliance repair.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills to manage a maintenance team.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with residents, employees, property managers, and contractors.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Hands-on expertise in general maintenance tasks and equipment.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and guidelines pertaining to property maintenance.
• Familiarity with accounting software preferred (Yardi & Nexus strongly preferred).
• Organizational and time-management skills.

• Maintaining a professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful attitude with residents and fellow employees.
• Assisting residents with problems and requests to the best of their ability.
• Ensuring curb appeal of the building's exterior and common areas.
• Continuously supervising maintenance and personnel, improving appearance and addressing deferred maintenance promptly.
• Overseeing on-call duties and coordinating with the property manager as needed.
• Collaborating with contractors while prioritizing resident safety and ensuring work adheres to policies.
