Job summary

Village Green is seeking a Maintenance Technician to promptly handle work orders, plumbing and electrical service requests, and apartment turns while maintaining a customer-focused approach. The role involves routine upkeep of exterior areas, possible snow removal, and occasional pool/spa maintenance, with on-call duties as directed by managers.

On-site work with a team committed to quality housing and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in the hotel industry or multifamily housing preferred but not required.
• Strong experience with plumbing, electrical, appliances, and painting.
• Excellent customer service skills and general computer knowledge.
• Bilingual candidates welcome.
• Plumbing, contracting, builders certifications and licenses a plus.
• Availability for on-call purposes and the flexibility to work weekends when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Timely completion of work orders and special projects.
• Completion of plumbing and electrical service requests.
• Completion of apartment turns including handling tasks as needed.
• Plumbing, Electrical, Drywall repair, Painting, Appliance repair.
• Servicing residents in a friendly, customer service oriented manner.
• Diagnoses problems and repairs in electrical areas.
• Responds to all service requests and on-call emergencies as directed, completed timely and professionally.
• Assists in maintaining exterior of property for curb appeal.
• Housekeeping duties and snow removal during winter months.
• Maintains pools, spas, and pool areas if applicable.
