Job summary

SunRidge Management Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep multifamily communities in top condition at an on-site location in Alamogordo, NM. You will perform routine and emergency maintenance, assist with make-ready tasks, and coordinate with the Property Manager to ensure timely unit readiness for new residents.

The role requires HVAC certification, reliable teamwork, and the ability to handle on-call responsibilities and occasional weekend needs as part of a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience in apartment or facilities maintenance preferred.
• HVAC certification required.
• Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently; on-call rotation availability.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency maintenance on residential units and common areas.
• Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and general building systems.
• Complete service requests promptly and participate in on-call rotation.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents including painting, patching, and cleaning.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of grounds and common areas.
