Job summary

SunRidge Management Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician – Multifamily to preserve the physical integrity of our apartment communities. The role involves routine and emergency repairs, unit turns, and preventative maintenance to ensure a safe, clean, and well-functioning environment for residents and staff.

You will work closely with the Property Manager to diagnose issues, complete service requests, and prepare vacant units in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in apartment or facilities maintenance.
• HVAC certification required.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general repair work.
• Ability to troubleshoot and work independently.
• Willing to be on-call and flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency maintenance on residential units and common areas.
• Diagnose and repair issues related to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, carpentry, and general building systems.
• Complete service requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergency maintenance.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents, including painting, patching, and cleaning.
• Inspect HVAC systems and replace filters; ensure units meet market-ready standards.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment and property systems.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of grounds, amenities, and common areas.
• Follow all company policies and safety regulations; maintain records of work orders and inspections.
• Provide professional and courteous service to residents; communicate maintenance timelines.
