Job summary

Cottonwood Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to perform a wide range of repairs and preventative maintenance across our multifamily communities. You will work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor to diagnose issues, complete requests, and ensure safe, clean, and well-functioning homes for residents.

The role requires strong problem-solving, customer service mindset, and the ability to work independently, including after-hours on-call duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• EPA Type II or Universal certification preferred.
• Experience in multifamily property maintenance is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance requests in occupied and vacant homes including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repairs.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot maintenance issues and escalate complex repairs as needed.
• Perform preventative maintenance on building systems, equipment, and common areas.
• Service and maintain HVAC systems, furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps and related components.
• Repair and maintain residential appliances, plumbing, electrical fixtures.
• Assist with make-ready processes to prepare apartments for new residents.
