Job summary

Red Tail Residential is seeking a Facilities Manager to lead the maintenance team for a multifamily community in Eden Prairie, MN. You will oversee mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety, elevators, and other systems, ensuring safety, reliability, and cost-effective operations.

Requirements include 5+ years in facilities maintenance, 2+ years in multifamily settings, and certifications such as EPA Universal, CPO, and boiler license. On-call duties and valid U.S.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of facilities maintenance experience in a Multifamily or Hospitality environment.
• At least 2 years of Multifamily maintenance experience required.
• Advanced experience in two or more trades: electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, painting, etc.
• Working knowledge of appliances required.
• Valid U.S. driver's license required.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set scope, technical specifications, budget tracking, schedule, material and equipment requirements, subcontractor/vendor bidding and management, and overall planning and execution of cost-effective facility and maintenance projects.
• Anticipate potential problems and implement preventative actions to ensure safety and operations procedures are met.
• Provide leadership and development of the maintenance team regarding scheduling, duties, and performance.
• Direct and oversee all maintenance work orders and unit turns with excellent customer service.
• Complete unit inspections and maintain orderly documentation.
• Maintain inventory of basic personal tools and organize supplies cost-effectively.
• Pre-diagnose and troubleshoot building systems prior to scheduling repairs.
• Perform on-call service requests and emergency calls as needed.
