Job summary

Red Tail Residential is seeking a Facilities Manager I to oversee apartment community systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety, and elevators. Lead maintenance staff, plan budgets, and ensure safe, cost-effective repairs.

This exempt, full-time role requires problem solving, organization, and on-call duties. Candidates should have at least two years in multifamily or hospitality facilities maintenance with experience in electrical, carpentry, and HVAC.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Facilities Maintenance in Multifamily or Hospitality.
• Advanced experience in two or more trades: electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, painting, etc.
• Working knowledge of appliances required.
• Valid U.S. driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Setting scope, technical specs, budget tracking, schedule, materials/equipment requirements, bidding and management of maintenance projects.
• Oversee preventative actions to ensure safety and operations procedures across the property.
• Lead maintenance team scheduling, duties, and performance.
