Job summary

Venterra Realty is seeking a Maintenance Manager for our Luminary at 95 property in Florida. This role oversees maintenance operations, leads a team, and drives safety, efficiency, and resident satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has extensive multifamily maintenance experience, HVAC certification, and a proven leadership ability to train and mentor staff. On-call rotation and strong troubleshooting skills are required. Sign-on bonus of $5,000 is offered.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification required.
• CPO certification preferred.
• Experience in multifamily maintenance or related field.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for HVAC/plumbing/electrical/appliances.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Oversee property maintenance, including service tickets, inspections, repairs, preventive maintenance, unit turns, and common area upkeep.
• Lead maintenance team recruitment, mentoring, and staff performance reviews as required.
• Foster a high-performance culture with clear expectations, feedback, and accountability.
• Ensure OSHA, EPA, ADA, Fair Housing and other safety regulations compliance; address hazards.
• Monitor budgets, inventory, and coordinate with vendors/contractors for repairs and capital projects.
• Provide emergency/on-call maintenance support as needed.
• Support the team with other duties to maintain resident satisfaction and property standards.
