Job summary

Lynd Management Group, LLC is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance operations of a multifamily property in Lake Charles, LA. The ideal candidate is an experienced technician and leader who delivers quality work and professional service to residents.

You will supervise the team, prioritize work orders, inspect systems, and coordinate with vendors while maintaining safety and compliance. The role requires after-hours availability and strong troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• EPA Type III or Universal certification required.
• Certified Pool Operator certification required.
• Experience in multifamily, facility, or mechanical maintenance preferred.
• Supervisory or team-lead experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, train, and develop the property's maintenance team.
• Prioritize service requests, make-readies, inspections, and PM projects.
• Ensure tasks are completed correctly and on time.
• Regularly inspect apartments, buildings, grounds, and systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and pool equipment.
• Maintain maintenance schedules, logs, and equipment documentation.
• Manage on-call schedule and after-hours emergencies.
• Coordinate with vendors and monitor work quality.
• Maintain inventory of supplies, tools, and chemicals.
• Keep shops and storage areas clean and secure.
• Ensure safety compliance with policies and OSHA rules.
• Communicate updates to the Property Manager.
