Job summary

Lynd Management Group is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and repairs across a multifamily property in Lake Charles, LA. You will respond to resident requests, diagnose issues, and ensure timely, quality service.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of maintenance experience, HVAC knowledge, and a hands-on problem-solving mindset. On-site role with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–3 years of facility, commercial, or multifamily maintenance experience.
• Working knowledge of HVAC systems and preventive maintenance.
• General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliances, and painting.
• EPA Type II or Universal certification preferred.
• Certified Pool Operator and CAMT certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders on time.
• Diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC systems and perform preventive maintenance.
• Complete plumbing repairs and unclog drains.
• Perform minor electrical repairs and replace lighting fixtures.
• Repair appliances, locks, walls, flooring, and apartment features.
• Inspect vacant apartments and prepare for move-in.
• Maintain pools, common areas, and property facilities.
• Maintain an inventory of tools, parts, and supplies.
• Participate in on-call rotation and after-hours response.
