Job summary

General Services Corporation seeks a personable Leasing Agent to present apartments, screen applicants, and secure leases. You will show units to prospects, maintain occupancy, and ensure premium resident satisfaction at move-in.

Responsibilities include greeting visitors, converting walk-ins and calls to appointments, preparing leases, conducting move-in orientations, and handling renewals and notices. You will also support promotional events and resident programs.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Outstanding sales ability in a computerized environment.
• Preferred: One year of leasing experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lease apartments at optimum rent levels with minimal vacancies.
• Greet customers by standing and smiling.
• Convert walk-in prospects into secured leases.
• Convert telephone calls and emails to appointments.
• Maintain a waiting list and follow up on applicants.
• Screen applicants to include reviewing credit reports, employment references, and rental references.
• Prepare leases and conduct move-in orientations.
• Maintain Move-in List and handle subleases, renewals, and notices.
• Promote Resident programs and promotions.
• Follow up on general complaints and ensure customer service quality.
