Job summary

Indus Management Group in Houston, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Property Manager with HVAC systems across multiple properties. You will install, inspect, and maintain heating, cooling, and ventilation systems while ensuring safety and inventory controls.

The role requires an associate degree in HVAC (preferred), two years of HVAC experience in multi-family settings, and EPA 608 certification.

Qualifications

• An associate's degree in HVAC is preferred.
• Two years of HVAC experience in the multi-family/residential industry required.
• EPA 608 Universal Certification required; Type 1 license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Willing to work on call as needed.
• Install new heating, cooling, and ventilation systems.
• Inspect HVAC systems for effectiveness and safety.
• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to increase longevity.
• Conduct performance tests with specialized tools.
• Troubleshoot HVAC system issues and repair damages.
• Supervise electrical issues at the property.
• Maintain inventory of all equipment and HVAC resources.
• Follow safety guidelines outlined by Maintenance Manager/Company.
• Support, train, and develop maintenance staff for growth.
• Other duties as assigned.
