Job summary

Harbor Group Management is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain exterior areas, amenities, and common spaces, while assisting with minor repairs and unit turnovers. You will help ensure curb appeal and safety, working closely with the maintenance team.

The role emphasizes customer service, safety adherence, and active participation in team efforts across landscaping tasks and preventative maintenance. This on-site position offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• At least one year of groundskeeping, maintenance, or related experience preferred.
• Proficient in the use of manual and power tools for landscaping and minor repairs.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines.
• Valid driver's license required (for golf cart operation if applicable).
• Must be customer-service oriented with the ability to interact professionally with residents.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and clean the property daily by removing litter and debris from common areas.
• Remove trash from vacant units and assist with the make-ready process for new residents.
• Support basic maintenance with routine service requests and minor repairs.
• Collaborate on landscaping, snow removal, sweeping, raking, and salting as needed.
• Maintain and inventory landscaping tools and supplies; ensure safe operation.
• Distribute resident communications as directed by management.
• Report hazards or safety concerns promptly to supervisors.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with residents.
• Participate in safety and risk management meetings and training per OSHA policies.
