ARCO/Murray National Construction in Chicago seeks a Project Manager passionate about the design/build process to join our Multi-Family team. You will manage projects from design to completion, with full profit and performance responsibility and growth potential.

The role requires a BS in Engineering or related field, 2–5 years in construction management or design, and proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, and MS Project. Base compensation is competitive with performance bonuses.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or related field is required.
• 2–5 years of construction management or engineering design experience.
• Experience leading ground up commercial, multi-family, hospitality, or entertainment construction projects is preferred.
• Proficiency using Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all managerial and administrative aspects of project from preconstruction through closeout.
• Work with clients and design team to develop preliminary concept drawings and budgets.
• Participate in proposal meetings to review scope, discuss cost-saving ideas, and negotiate contracts & fees.
• Oversee subcontractor selection and buyout for trades and vendors.
• Identify opportunities to procure materials or equipment directly when advantageous to budget or schedule.
• Collaborate with Project Superintendent on subcontractor scopes, schedule, and site logistics.
