Job summary

Ironcore Construction is seeking a Multifamily Construction Project Manager to lead multifamily projects across California, from planning through completion. You will partner with executives, superintendents, owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to drive budget, schedule, quality, and safety with accountability.

This hands-on leadership role requires ownership mindset, strong communication, and the ability to manage risks and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CM, Civil Engineering or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 3–7+ years of construction PM experience, with multifamily preferred.
• Strong understanding of multifamily construction means, methods, sequencing, and project delivery.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, RFIs, submittals, procurement, and change orders.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
• Proactive ownership and leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day project management for multifamily construction projects.
• Develop, monitor, and manage budgets, forecasts, cost controls, and change management.
• Drive project schedules and identify risks to milestones.
• Review drawings for constructability and coordination.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement, and project docs.
• Coordinate with field teams to keep projects moving safely and efficiently.
• Lead weekly OAC meetings and communicate status, budget, schedule, risks, and priorities.
• Mentor Assistant Project Managers and other team members.
