The Boyd Companies in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to grow our multifamily and commercial client base across Virginia and North Carolina. You will build long-term client relationships, identify new opportunities, attend industry events, and coordinate with preconstruction and operations teams to align scope, pricing, and schedules.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of business development or related experience.
• Experience within multifamily, single family or general contracting industries.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Travel will be required to various development sites.
• Self-motivated with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to understand scopes and discuss construction professionally.

Responsabilités

• Develop relationships with multifamily property developers, property owners, ownership groups, and asset managers.
• Attend industry networking events, trade shows, apartment association meetings, and client events.
• Generate new business opportunities and maintain an active sales pipeline through networking and relationship development.
• Expand services within existing client accounts.
• Identify and develop upcoming capital improvement and renovation, new construction opportunities; Estimating, pricing, and project execution are supported by preconstruction and operations teams.
• Coordinate with preconstruction and operations to align scope, schedule, and pricing strategy.
