Job summary

Centurion Selection, LLC is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to join a 30-story multifamily project in downtown Miami. You will work with the Senior Superintendent to oversee construction operations, ensure quality, and keep the project on schedule.

You will coordinate with subcontractors, enforce safety, manage schedules, and document progress. The ideal candidate has strong leadership, construction knowledge, and communication skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders on a high-rise

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• OSHA certification or other safety certifications.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Senior Superintendent to plan and execute construction activities for multi-unit apartment projects.
• Ensure construction work adheres to project plans, specifications, and quality standards.
• Monitor progress, inspect work for quality, and resolve construction issues.
• Assist in the selection and management of subcontractors, ensuring they meet project requirements, schedules, and quality expectations.
• Maintain relationships with subcontractors and facilitate communication between them and the project team.
• Enforce safety on the job site and stay updated on local building codes to ensure compliance.
• Assist in creating and managing project schedules, identifying potential delays and mitigation strategies.
• Maintain accurate records of project activities, including daily reports, safety logs, and project documentation.
• Assist with progress reporting and updates to project management and stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve construction-related issues, and contribute to practical solutions.
• Implement quality control measures to meet or exceed standards.
