Job summary

Advanced Asset Management (AAM Living) is seeking an experienced Community Director/Community Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, leasing, resident relations, and financial performance at a multifamily community in Sherman, TX. This role requires hands-on leadership, budgeting, and compliance.

You will lead on-site teams, coordinate maintenance, drive occupancy, renewals, and customer service, while maintaining property records and ensuring Fair Housing compliance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of multifamily property management experience at a leadership level.
• Experience overseeing leasing, occupancy, collections, resident relations, and operations.
• Strong leadership, financial management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Yardi, AppFolio, RealPage or similar PMS.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing and landlord-tenant regulations.
• CAM/ARM/CPM certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily community operations including leasing, resident services, maintenance, and admin tasks.
• Lead, train, and coach onsite team to meet performance and service standards.
• Drive leasing, sales, occupancy, renewals, and resident retention.
• Monitor rental income, expenses, and overall financial performance.
• Prepare budgets, financial reports, and manage vendor relationships.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing and company policies.
• Coordinate maintenance, turnovers, and property inspections.
• Maintain accurate property records and leasing data.
