Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking an Assistant Property Manager for a Multifamily community in Hoboken, NJ. This on-site role runs 9:30am-6:00pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday work.

The starting hourly wage is $35.00, with eligibility for benefits and additional earnings. The position supports the Property Manager in daily operations, budgeting, lease administration, marketing, and resident relations to drive renewals and profitability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of on-site Multifamily Property Management experience, including Assistant Property Manager responsibilities.
• 1+ years of Management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the smooth running of the community in a fast-paced environment.
• Assist the Property Manager with operations including maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and leases.
• Provide superior customer service to residents and prospects to maximize renewals, revenue, and profitability.
• Complete lease and renewal paperwork to company standards.
• Collaborate with leasing staff to meet leasing/marketing goals.
• Model Cushman & Wakefield's mission and support on-site teams.
• Interview, hire, and coach staff as needed.
• Maintain residents' files per company standards.
