Job summary

MMS Group is seeking an Area Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations across our NJ/NY properties from Englewood, NJ. This full-time role demands hands-on leadership, effective coordination of technicians, and ensuring work orders are completed on time.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in multifamily maintenance with public contact preferred.
• 2+ years of supervisory or lead maintenance experience.
• Valid driver's license and current vehicle insurance.
• Required use of personal vehicle for local travel; ability to drive company pickup/truck.
• Possession of basic maintenance tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, support and train maintenance staff across sites.
• Provide performance feedback and assist with corrective action plans.
• Coordinate coverage plans for vacant supervisor roles.
• Ensure all work orders are entered, tracked, and completed in the system.
• Verify resident permission prior to unit entry and notify residents of delays.
