Job summary

The Lodge at Whitefish Lake, a premier Averill Hospitality resort in Montana, seeks a Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair facilities, ensuring safety and visual appeal for guests and residents.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems, plus carpentry and basic repairs. On-call availability, strong problem-solving, and reliable teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years’ experience in similar role preferred.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and maintenance manuals.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance of common areas, mechanical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical components.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies from residents or property management.
• Complete repairs involving carpentry, drywall, painting, minor appliance servicing, and basic plumbing/electrical work.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in shared spaces such as lobbies, hallways, fitness centers, and pool areas.
• Collaborate with contractors and vendors when specialized repairs or inspections are required.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety codes, building regulations, and company policies.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance tasks, repairs, inventory, and work orders.
