Job summary

The Lodge in Great Falls, MT is seeking a Maintenance Specialist to care for the community’s common areas, exteriors and apartments, ensuring safety equipment inspections and rent-ready units. You will handle HVAC, electrical, plumbing and drywall tasks with strong troubleshooting skills.

Two years of facility maintenance experience is required, along with a high school diploma. Training on TEL’s software helps manage work orders and preventative work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of facility maintenance experience with emphasis on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drywall or related areas.
• Knowledge of safety regulations for elder care facilities.
• Ability to troubleshoot, repair and maintain systems to ensure reliability.

Responsibilities

• Respond to scheduled and on-call maintenance requests for common areas and apartments.
• Maintain the building, equipment, and exterior to high standards.
• Perform routine floor covering cleaning and painting.
• Winterize and de-winterize the community to protect from winter weather and storms.
• Manage special projects to uphold or improve the Community.
• Assist with housekeeping tasks related to maintenance and upkeep.
• Ensure annual safety equipment inspections are completed per regulations.
• Help ensure apartments are rent-ready for resident move-ins.
• Utilize TEL’s to manage work orders and assist with preventative maintenance.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management or community leadership.
