Franciscan Medical Group, part of Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, is seeking a full-time Multidisciplinary Technologist for our Urgent Care Clinic in Gig Harbor, WA. We are looking for an energetic, compassionate individual to join our team. The clinic operates 7 days a week, with free parking available.

Job Summary:

The Urgent Care Multimodality Technologist prepares and operates x-ray equipment to perform diagnostic patient exams and procedures safely and accurately. Responsibilities include:

• Preparing and operating radiographic equipment
• Positioning patients correctly
• Recording diagnostic images
• Sending results to physicians for evaluation

Work is performed following strict safety, regulatory, and departmental standards. The technologist also assists in implementing care plans by performing clinical procedures within their scope of practice and maintains knowledge through ongoing education.

Essential Duties:

• Preparing equipment based on physicians' orders and departmental protocols
• Preparing patients and performing radiology procedures
• Demonstrating competency in clinical techniques such as CPR, vital signs, electrocardiograms, wound care, orthopedic splinting, point of care testing, and emergency response
• Maintaining records and logs as required
• Performing general office duties like answering phones, scheduling, and maintaining records

Qualifications

Education/Work Experience:

• Graduation from an accredited school of Radiological Technology

Licensure/Certification:

• American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) (R)
• Current State of Washington Licensure as a Radiology Technologist
• Within 90 days of hire, obtain Washington State Medical Assistant-Registered (MA-R) license
• Preferred: Washington Society of Radiological Technologists (WSRT) membership
• Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification
