Job summary

Accura Engineering is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to provide leadership and technical oversight for engineering services under contract at the Marshall Space Flight Center. You will guide multidisciplinary teams across mechanical, electrical, civil, and systems engineering to deliver high-quality, timely solutions that meet NASA requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, or Architecture.
• PE registration or Registered Architect preferred.
• 8–10 years of engineering experience with supervisory or management responsibilities.
• Experience in aerospace, federal, or large-scale infrastructure projects preferred.
• Strong knowledge of engineering standards and project execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of engineers across multiple disciplines.
• Oversee planning, design, and execution of projects for buildings, structures, and sites.
• Provide technical direction and mentoring for engineering staff.
• Ensure compliance with standards, procedures, and QA requirements.
• Collaborate with Program Manager to align deliverables with client objectives.
• Monitor performance, schedule, and cost metrics for efficient execution.
• Represent engineering in meetings with NASA stakeholders and partners.
• Identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement.
