Job summary

Brown-Forman in Versailles, Kentucky, seeks a Maintenance Technician to provide general and preventive maintenance and repair of production equipment, systems and facilities across shifts, including weekends. You will support new equipment installations and upgrades, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, and work with the maintenance team to keep operations running smoothly.

Candidates should have an associate degree or vocational training, hands-on experience with electrical systems

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent vocational training or work experience.
• Experience in single and three-phase electrical systems.
• Fluency with mechanical and electrical terms and facilities maintenance terminology.
• Proficient in reading technical drawings and diagrams.
• Strong technical aptitude and problem-resolution skills.
• Able to lift up to 70 pounds and pass drug/alcohol screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide general and preventive maintenance and repair of production equipment, systems and facilities.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems and manufacturing equipment.
• Leverage work order system to track maintenance and manage replacement timelines.
• Diagnose and repair electrical problems and motor control systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair automated packaging systems including conveyors and labeling machines.
• Maintain facilities systems including compressed air, boiler and fire suppression.
• Collaborate with maintenance team to complete repairs on time and on budget.
• Maintain a clean and organized spare parts area.
